Getting to Know the Different Types of Coffee Roasting

Coffee roasting is an important stage that determines the flavor and aroma of the coffee we enjoy. Different levels of roasting will result in unique flavor characteristics, ranging from mild to intense. 1. Light Roast
At this stage, the coffee beans are roasted for a shorter period of time at a temperature of around 180-205°C. 2. Medium Roast
Medium roast coffee beans have a balance between sour and sweet flavors, with a hint of caramel or chocolate character. This roasting process takes place at a temperature of around 210-220°C. 3. Dark Roast

4. Espresso Roast (Espresso-Specific Roast)
This type of roasting is specifically designed to produce coffee with a thicker body and rich flavor. Typically, the roasting level is close to dark roast but still maintains a slight acidity for balance.
